Who we are

TikTokSavers ("we", "us") operates the website at tiktoksavers.com and its video downloader and TikTok profile tools. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

Information we process

Links you submit to the downloader

When you paste a TikTok link, we use it to fetch the public video from TikTok and prepare the format you choose. The prepared file is deleted automatically 15 minutes after it is ready. The record of the request, which includes the link and the chosen format, is deleted about 30 minutes after that.

Usernames you look up

When you use a profile tool or browse a profile's videos, the username is sent to our lookup service, which reads the public profile from TikTok. Results are kept in a short-term cache so that repeated lookups are fast: profile details for up to 45 minutes and video lists for up to 5 minutes.

Server and security logs

Like most websites, our servers record each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or address requested (without the part after "?"), the result, the time taken and your browser's user agent. Our lookup service also records the username looked up together with the IP address of the visitor who requested it. We use these logs only to keep the service secure and working: to detect and block abuse, to enforce fair-use limits and to investigate faults.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use them to reply.

What we do not collect

There are no user accounts, so we never ask for a password, and we never ask for your TikTok login. We take no payments. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses these cookies and browser storage:

• Theme: if you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us.
• Language: if you choose a language, a cookie named .AspNetCore.Culture remembers it for up to one year.
• Analytics: Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_… to count visits and see which pages are used. They last up to two years.

You can clear or block these at any time in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.

Third parties

• TikTok. Our servers request public videos and profiles from TikTok to provide the service. Some images, such as profile pictures and video previews, load in your browser directly from TikTok's servers, which lets TikTok see your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. It receives the page address (without the part after "?", so links and usernames you enter are not sent), your browser and device type, your approximate location and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate location and does not store. Google processes this under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Hosting and network providers. Our hosting provider and network and security services, such as Cloudflare, process traffic on our behalf to deliver and protect the service.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, the public or the service.

How long we keep information

• Prepared download files: 15 minutes after they are ready.
• Download request records, including the link: about 30 minutes after the file is ready.
• Lookup caches: up to 45 minutes for profiles and 5 minutes for video lists.
• Server and security logs: up to about 60 days, then deleted automatically, unless a specific entry is needed to investigate abuse or a security incident.
• Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Analytics account, at most 14 months.
• Emails: as long as needed to handle your message, and then deleted.

Why we may use information

We process information to provide the service you request and, for logs, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, reliable and free from abuse. Where the law requires it, we rely on your consent or on a legal obligation instead.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law.

To make a request, email [email protected]. Because we have no accounts, telling us your IP address and the approximate date and time of your visit helps us find any records. We may need to confirm the request comes from you. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Other important information

International transfers

Our servers and service providers may be located in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict access to our systems and logs, and keep information for short periods. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age for online services in their country. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
